FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-MONDAY JUNE 26, 2017

Thunderstorms will be possible just about any time through this week even though the chances are low. A higher chance for our area will be Wednesday and Thursday and possibly again on Friday and Saturday as a front pushes through. Strong winds and heavy rainfall will be the main issues as of now. This may change as guidance does so no reason to get panicky or depressed yet.
That said it’s a new week so enjoy it as best you can. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday-10 percent chance of showers before 7am. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. East northeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Monday Night-30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southeast wind around 7 mph.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
