0305L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 3/10/25

* It will be warmer than normal this week and dry, for the most part. Winds will become a factor later this week but for now on average, winds will be 10-15 with higher gusts for today. With forecast guidance not set in stone, the only thing this week we can count on is high temps in the mid to upper 70’s, possibly low 80’s, this week and then we cool down, of course for the weekend. We’ll see what happens.

The fire danger will remain elevated so anyone doing anything related to fire needs to take extra precautions to make sure you protect the area you are working in. Other than this, we’ll deal with whatever the winds may be.

Overall for now, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday- Sunny. Not as cool with highs in the upper 70s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, increasing to 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon.

Monday Night- Clear. Lows in the mid-40s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
