0320L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 03/18/24
*Temps will be in the mid-50’s today along with fairly light winds. Skies should be mostly clear but we’ll be very dry. Humidity will be low around the mid 20’s and our dew point temps will be in the teens. This has fire danger all over it. As stated yesterday, the Fire Danger will continue to be a hazard so keep an eye out for smoke and fire. Call 911 if you happen to see any. There may be a few controlled burns again today but dispatch will know where those burns are being conducted. The number to call for controlled burning is 580-234-3473.
*There is a chance we could see some rainfall around mid-week so we’ll just have to wait and see where this actually occurs. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast for today from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the mid-50s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight- Clear. Lows in the mid-30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
