0325L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/7/22

1- I hope you enjoyed last week with the warm temps because this week is going to be cooler than last week, then very cold with arctic air along with winter weather around mid to late week. Just be prepared for this event. By the way, hope you didn’t pack up your coats.

2- Yesterday’s rainfall amounted to 1/8th of an inch. It wasn’t a lot but hopefully we see more this week. The fire danger is low right now but will increase as we dry out. We are still in an extreme drought so continue to be careful out there. Other than the above, we’ll be ok so stay warm and we’ll advise as needed.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. North winds 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Cold with lows in the lower 20s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming southeast after midnight.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
