FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-MONDAY-11/20/17
WINDY conditions will be the story today and dry conditions will be the story for the week. We have a few fronts that will traverse the area but because they are Pacific in origin, they won’t affect OUR temperatures too much. This said, the FIRE DANGER is increasing quite a bit so be extremely careful if your job is related to anything fire related.
We are in a GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER AREA today due to winds and low humidity so again, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND REPORT SMOKE OR FIRE TO 911.
Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Monday-Sunny, with a high near 64. South southwest wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.
Monday Night-Increasing clouds, with a low around 39. South wind 5 to 13 mph.
HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
MIKE
