0310L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/25/23

*Warm, dry, with light winds are expected this week. High temps should average in the mid to upper 80s since summer is fighting with fall. Winds should be relatively light until roughly Thursday. Overall, a nice week to get out and look around the house or the workplace and see what may need to be done to prepare for winter. Believe it or not, we will get plenty cold before you know it. Make those repairs now. When it gets cold, it’ll possibly be too late!

* The Fire Danger is low right now so keep your eyes peeled just in case. Call 9-1-1 if you see smoke or fire.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday-Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. North winds around 5 mph.

Monday Night-Clear. Lows in the upper 50s. Southeast winds around 5 mph, becoming southwest after midnight.

* FINALLY: The WSR-88D weather radar at Kegelman Field known as KVNX is still down. Return to service is undetermined. Will advise when it returns to service.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
