0340L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/24/23

* The WSR-88D weather radar at Kegelman Field known as KVNX is still down. Return to service is still undetermined. Will advise when it returns to service.

*No severe weather occurred here but dryer air is working its way in and we’ll see warm temps and less humidity for several days. Southern Oklahoma will still have that severe threat today so if traveling that way, stay weather aware. Summer is fighting for it’s life this week and temps will average in the mid to upper 80’s. We may even see low 90’s again later this week. We’ll see what happens.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs in the mid-80s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
