0300L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 04/13/24
*Today will be sunny, warm, & windy. The Fire Danger will be elevated. We continue to discourage any burning especially later this morning into the afternoon while the winds are increasing. Other than this, enjoy the day.
*Monday looks like we could end up with some rough weather. Details are still a little out there but if everything comes together, we could see our first real taste of severe weather with all hazards possible around the area. That said, no need to panic but get your safe places and cellars cleaned out and KNOW what you are going to do in the event the hazards come to pass.
*Overall, for the weekend, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Saturday- Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Saturday Night-Lows in the upper 50s. South winds 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
