0325L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 04/14/24

*Warm today with lighter winds. This will help to bring down relative humidity and the fire danger will creep up this afternoon into this evening. Other than this, we are still watching to see how models will come together for Monday’s weather event. We are still in that ENHANCED RISK area so we’ll see what happens.

*Based on the above as I have been saying the last few days, make sure you know what you will do if the weather gets too out of hand. All threats are possible late Monday. There are still some questions on whether we’ll see SUPERCELL activity or a squall line system or even both. Either way, HAIL will most likely be our biggest threat. We have a briefing at 1pm today so I’ll update after that over our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
