0325L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/02/22

1- We received a little rain overnight that appears to be just a trace. That system is moving away and so now we wait until later on Sunday for the next system. It appears we will be seeing this pattern through mid-week. Today should be sunny and warm with light winds. Get outside and enjoy.

2- With the higher end of storm season approaching, you will see me taking about PREPAREDNESS, quite a bit. That reason is everyone feels they are as prepared as possible. Some are but most aren’t. What category are you? Evaluate your situation and see where you are. If you don’t feel you are ready, for the most part, go to the following link and use this information as possibly a guideline. https://gcem.org/about-us/preparedness-comments/ I wrote this document about 2 years ago. It’s written as a guideline for you. Use it all or parts of it for your personal planning. Be sure to write your plan down so if THAT DAY comes that you put your plan to use, you can follow your guidelines to help you in your recovery process. Take the time to put something together. You’ll be glad you did.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming northeast this afternoon.

Tonight-Clear. Lows in the mid-40s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
