0325L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/09/22

1-Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, breezy and not as cool with highs in the lower 80s. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Breezy and not as cool with lows in the lower 60s. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

2- FREEZE WARNING STILL IN EFFECT UNTIL 0800 LOCAL THIS MORNING.

3- CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON. No controlled burning is advised. Barbecuing is ok as long as its over concrete or dirt. Just be extremely careful. Even though we are starting to green up a little, there is plenty of dead foliage out there to burn. We will remain under critical conditions for the FIRE DANGER through at least next week.

4- Overall, we should be ok. keep your eyes peeled and report ANY SMOKE OR FIRE that you see to 911.
