0310L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/11/21

The winds blew and we suffered some damage but we had no major wildland fires yesterday. We will be cooler today and the winds will be a little gusty but nothing like yesterday. The wind will shift back around to the S-SW around mid-day or so. Overall, the dust in the air can hopefully settle down some. Sunday, winds will increase from the south and remain strong and gusty most of the week.

2- Overall, we’ll be ok but keep that eye out for smoke and fire and keep things secure at home and at work so items don’t take flight. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Sunny, with a high near 52. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.

Saturday Night-Clear, with a lows in the upper 20s. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
