0300L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 1/18/25

*Much colder today than yesterday. Colder air will filter in as the day moves forward along with a chance for snow. Not expecting a lot of snow but if there is any accumulation, it should be light. As we have stated all week, the wind chill will be brutal over the next several days as temps plummet. The graphic attached will show highs and lows expected but keep in mind that they will change. Wind chill expected today around 15 degrees.

Check on the elderly and make sure outdoor animals are fed and watered and have some protection from the bitter cold. Cover up your skin if you plan on being outdoors.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tonight- Mostly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Cold with lows around 13. North winds 15 to 20 mph.
