0350L-SATURDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/7/18

1- Friday’s winds were a fact of collapsing storms. Our atmosphere is very conducive to this at this time of the year. Yes, storms came in from the NORTHEAST. This isn’t common for us but this actually happens each year at least once to keep everyone honest! This pattern may persist for the upcoming week so be aware, depending on conditions, that we may see some more storms possibly Monday and Tuesday. Strongest winds were around 50 mph. I could have done without the dust but this is Oklahoma.

2- Humidity should be down a bit over the weekend with rain chances low for our area. Rain chances in the south and southeast part of Oklahoma are a little higher so if you plan on traveling, check the forecast where you are going so you’re not surprised.

3-Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 67. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY AND STAY COOL.
