0320L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/28/25

GENERAL THUNDERSTORM RISK again today. If any storms were to become severe, it would be due to winds. Storms, if they occur, will be slow movers again so extreme caution is advised in flood prone areas.

The southeast part of our county received 3 to 4 inches of rainfall last evening so traveling down any county road out there may become an adventure so if you don’t live out there, don’t go site seeing as you may become the focus of a rescue.

Overall, we’ll be on so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- Mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid-90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight- Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Humid with lows in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
