0255L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 11/16/24

*As stated on Friday morning, the winds will be a factor today as a storm system moves our way. We could see wind gusts upwards of 30 mph or so. We’ll start to see high clouds moving in and it will seem cooler than temps are showing. Rainfall isn’t expected until late in the day on Sunday but, per forecast guidance, we could see another 3-4 inches of rainfall by the time the front moves through.

*Depending on how this mess comes together, we may see strong to severe thunderstorms with torrential rainfall and strong winds. There are several variables out there but later on Sunday could get interesting. We’ll see what happens & we’ll advise as needed.

Overall, we’ll be ok so make sure you have our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. South winds 15- 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s. South winds 10 – 15 mph.
