*RAIN IS IN THE FORECAST! That said, depending on which model run you look at, we could see 2 to 6 inches through Monday. Right now, the NWS has a graphic out showing our area at 4 to 6 inches. This has changed several times since our briefing yesterday morning. That said, we’ll see what we have on Monday after this system moves out. This system has slowed down some so again, we’ll see how much we get each day.

The only real threat right now IF WE SEE A LOT OF RAINFALL is folks driving into deep water over the road in low lying areas even here in town. If there are barricades up, DON’T DRIVE AROUND THEM. They are there for a reason. There is a threat for some severe weather Sunday and Monday so we’ll see what happens.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Patchy fog this morning. A chance of thunderstorms. Showers likely this morning, then showers this afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible this afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Tonight- Showers with a chance of thunderstorms. Near steady temperature in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
