0335L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 11/1/24

*Another nice day before the skies open back up giving us much more needed rainfall. We could see as much as 2 inches over the weekend but depending on storm track, there could be more or less. We’ll have to wait and see for sure. Either way, it was nice to see CLEAR conditions yesterday and so we should experience nearly the same thing today. The only thing for the up and coming rainfall to remember is if the roads are flooded, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly cloudy with showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Not as cool with lows in the mid-50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
