0345L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 4/23/23

*FROST ADVISORY THIS MORNING UNTIL 0800 LOCAL TIME.

*RAIN isn’t looking as well as it did in yesterday’s information. There is still a fairly good chance but it looks better for the southern part of the state. That is just the way it is, at least right now. We have been in some level of drought for quite some time and it doesn’t appear it is lessening much in the near future. We’ll continue to deal with it and move forward from here.

*The FIRE DANGER will be LOW for the next week or so. We ask that you use good common sense on doing any CONTROLLED BURNING. There is NO BURN BAN in place but winds, on any given day, may be a factor around the area. Just use extreme caution. If you see any smoke or fire, call 911 immediately.

* Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. Not as cool with highs in the mid-60s. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming east this afternoon.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the mid-30s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
