FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-SUNDAY, 4/30/17

Short and sweet today. Cloudy, cold, and windy are the key words. There may even be a shower or two. Either way, the only thing today that could become close to severe would be the winds. We are presently outside of the wind advisory but we will experience strong winds as the low passes over the region. Secure anything that could take flight!

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday-40 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 48. Windy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 21 to 26 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph.

Sunday Night-Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 39. Windy, with a west wind 23 to 28 mph decreasing to 14 to 19 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
