0357L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/21/22
1- RAIN? It doesn’t appear we will see very much other than what we saw yesterday if that. I hope I am wrong on this. The weak front is sagging through the area and will continue very slowly southward through most of the day. There is a flood risk in SW through southern Oklahoma so if you plan on traveling, pay attention to the weather and surface conditions.
2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Sunday-Slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the lower 80s. East winds around 5 mph, becoming south in the afternoon. Chance of rain 40 percent.
Sunday Night-Mostly cloudy in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of showers. Lows in the mid-60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west after midnight.
3- Overall, we’ll be ok so stay hydrated and keep an eye out for suspicious activity.
