0300L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/17/23

*It will be a little warmer today and there is a slight chance for some fog here in the northern Oklahoma area early this morning. If fog does occur, it should mix out after sunrise. Another front will push in today shifting winds from the NNW but we should remain mostly clear with winds mostly around 10-15 mph after frontal passage. Winds will pick up tonight gusting to around 20 mph.

*Winds will become southerly late Monday and remain out of the south all week. Wind gusts could be upwards of 35 mph by mid-week. Another storm system is expected by next Friday or so. We’ll see what happens.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Patchy fog this morning. Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Southwest winds around 5 mph, becoming northwest this afternoon.

Tonight- Clear, cold with lows in the lower 30s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.
