0415L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK &INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-2/9/2020

1- A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA EITHER BY LATE MORNING OR EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. We don’t expect rain with this but we’ll watch this carefully. What you can expect is gusty northerly winds and colder temps.

2- Overall, we’ll be ok so just be prepared for the colder air and strong winds. There are several chances for rain and maybe light snow in NW Oklahoma Monday through Wednesday.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday-Mostly cloudy with a temperature rising to near 53 by 9am, then falling to around 45 during the remainder of the day. South southwest wind 10 to 20 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Sunday night-Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
