0245L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/09/23

* It got a bit windy overnight and it wouldn’t surprise me to see weaker tree damage this morning. If anyone did receive any damage, please let us know either by email and pics or through the damage report icon on the GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. My email is mike@gcem.org

*The storms that rolled through around 0100-0120L did so really quickly. They did go severe as they moved into deeper unstable air to our south. We have received some rainfall but nothing unexpected. Rain will continue for a while this morning but should move out of the area during the morning hours and we should see sunshine this afternoon with highs around 80. Tonight should be clear and NO STORMS. Overnight storms will resume Monday night.

* Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday- Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs around 80. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Sunday Night- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-60s. East winds around 5 mph.

*ADVISED & PREPARED? Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app and you will be.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
