0425L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6/18/23
* Well, we had some very healthy winds last night and approximately ½ inch of rainfall. If anyone sustained any damage, please send a pic and the location of the damage to me at mike@gcem.org. If you have our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app, please use the DAMAGE REPORT or ASK THE DIRECTOR icons. This information is sent to the NWS with additional plotting information.
*Our anemometer (wind speed indicator) had problems last night so we estimated our wind speeds around 70 mph. Other reports from around the county were approximately the same or a little higher. If anyone has an actual anemometer that recorded your windspeed and you’re willing to send us that info, please do so. It’s greatly appreciated.
Today looks nice with plenty of sunshine and heat so get outside and enjoy the day. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the mid-80s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight- Clear. Lows in the mid-60s. West winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming southeast after midnight.
*Be sure to download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You’re NOT PREPARED without it.
Have a good day!
