0325L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 03/31/24

*Keeping this short and sweet for EASTER SUNDAY, RED FLAG WARNING in far NW Oklahoma in Harper County. Fire danger here is low. We may get lucky and see the sun for a bit but it appears we’ll be mostly cloudy again today. We will be windy so prepare for that.

* The higher threat for severe weather on Monday has shifted to the east per guidance but we aren’t out of the woods as storms could still form either just to our west, on top of us, or just to our east. We’ll watch this closely.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday-Patchy fog in the morning. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Sunday Night-Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

*Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app as you’ll receive advisories and warnings “directly” from the NWS, in detail. You’ll also receive information from us in Emergency Management.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
