SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/4/18

First of all, I hate these time changes!! Rant over. Early morning rants are short…

1- We’ll start with your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 58. West-northwest winds 5 to 15 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Sunday Night: 50 percent chance of rain mainly after midnight. Cloudy with lows around 47. South winds 10 to 15 mph gusting to 20 mph.

2- We have a few chances for some rain as several systems move through the area this week. Towards the end of the week, we stand a good chance for freezing temps. Overnight lows will average in the mid to upper 20’s per guidance right now and the daytime temps will average in the mid to upper 40’s. I would take this time to review your cold weather preparedness information. I will post some of those starting tomorrow morning.

3- Overall for today, get outside and take some slow deep breaths. Oxygen intake is good for your system. Also, if you haven’t changed the filters in your home and you keep getting sick, you may be re-infecting yourselves with allergens caught within your heat and air conditioning system.

4- GARFIELD COUNTY EM. This is our app. IF YOU DON’T HAVE IT, YOU’RE “NOT” PREPARED!

HAVE A SUPER DAY AND STAY SAFE.
