0410L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/11/2020

1- GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our app. It loaded with great information on virtually everything you need to know. You’re NOT PREPARED without it!

2- Warm and Windy today with no rain in site. There will be a lot of dirt in the air today and after the cold front pushes in later tonight, winds will be strong out of the north. There is a RED FLAG WARNING in effect for the far western counties of Oklahoma so if you’re headed that way today be careful if any fires occur.

3- For our area, keep your eyes peeled for smoke or fire and call 911 if you see any. We are very dry and we’re in a MODERATE drought. Be careful out there. Firefighters that read this, I will be sending additional information over the app ON OUR CHANNEL later this morning.

4- Overall, we’ll be ok but it will be dirty outside today. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Sunday- Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 89. South wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Sunday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 54. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming north northwest 20 to 25 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
