0310L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/10/23

*Everyone wanted cooler weather so here it comes! Today, we’ll see temps in the upper 80s and then as we cloud up, a cold front pushes towards the area later tonight. Highs Monday thru Wednesday will be in the low to mid 70s and then in the upper 60s by Thursday. Low temps will be in the 60s on average all week with low 70s initially.

*Let’s talk rain: we do stand a chance for rain each day this week. This doesn’t mean that we’ll see rain each day but probabilities are good that it could happen. If any storms do occur that could become severe, hail and especially winds would be the main threats. Just make sure that items on your properties are secured.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny in the morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 80s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the evening, then showers likely with a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming east after midnight. Chance of rain 70 percent.

*HAVE A SUPER DAY!
