0410L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/29/21

1- Not much rain here but maybe next week. Until then enjoy the lower temps without much humidity and the northerly winds. There will be a low chance for rain late Saturday through at least Tuesday per guidance at least right now. We’ll see what happens.

2- Be sure to download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app so you’ll have that tool for preparedness purposes and for warnings.

3- If you plan on traveling into eastern and southeastern Oklahoma, pay attention to signage along the roads concerning flooding. A lot of rainfall occurred over the last few days and they are having some issues around these areas. Just be careful.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Thursday-Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid-70s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts.

Thursday Night-Clear. Lows in the upper 40s. North winds 10 to 15 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.
