0415L-THURSDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/9/18

1-Today looks pretty good with virtually no chance for rain under clear skies. That said, it will be warm and maybe a bit humid. We are settling into a pattern for the foreseeable future with that chance for rain each day so understand the possibility is there.

2- This has been a weird summer but at least we aren’t in a major drought situation and having to deal with fires. That will come this winter with all of the overgrowth. There are areas that haven’t received much rain here in the county so please be careful with anything having to do with fire. YES, the area may have shades of green but that green is DRY and will burn. Just be careful.

3- Keeping this short and sweet, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Thursday-Mostly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the mid 90s. Light and variable winds.

Thursday Night-Mostly clear. Lows around 70. Southeast winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
