0335L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 2/13/25

COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM THIS MORNING. Wind chill temps downwards to 5 below are possible.

*At 0315L its 8 degrees with a wind chill of -1 and we’ll most likely get a little colder before sunup. Bundle up the kids if they go to school and cover your skin too. We most likely will remain below freezing this afternoon and winds will get stronger later today. Just use caution while outdoors. We’ll warm up on Friday and then another front with mixed precip comes in on Saturday. We do expect another storm system next week that could bring another good chance for snowfall. We’ll see what happens. Can’t wait until Spring!
