0315L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-02/16/23

* No rain or snow with the departing system. Just wind and cold. The wind chill will average around the mid-teens this morning, then the mid-20’s this afternoon. Overnight, wind chill temps will be back into the mid-teens. Winds will be strong out of the NW at 20-25 mph gusting to 35mph or so. I would advise wearing a coat today.

* Our next chance for any precip would be around mid-week next week. We’ll see what happens. Fire danger will be around for the foreseeable future.

Today- Partly sunny and brisk, cooler with highs in the mid-30s. Northwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Cold with lows around 19. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph, diminishing to around 5 mph after midnight.
