0320L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/29/21

1- The HEAT ADVISORY remains in effect from noon until 7pm this evening. Heat index values up to 103-105 are expected.  Use EXTREME CAUTION doing anything outdoors.

2- Also use EXTREME CAUTION UTILIZING ANYTHING related to fire. Even though we are hot and humid, foliage is very dry and thus will burn. Be careful out there. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

THURSDAY-Sunny and hot, with a high near 99. Heat index values as high as 103. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

THURSDAY NIGHT-Mostly clear, with a low around 73. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
