0325L- THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 7/3/25

We are in a General Thunderstorm risk area for today, Friday and Saturday. The only difference from the last few days is that the winds are going to kick in. Storms, if they form, will produce heavy rainfall, lightning, and strong winds. Severe weather isn’t expected but may be possible under those stronger cells. We’ll just have to wait and see where storms develop. Other than this, it appears we’ll have some cooler than normal temps in the upper 80’s. Be careful out there!

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- Partly cloudy after midnight, then mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Humid with highs in the upper 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the upper 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
