0315L- WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 7/2/25

GENERAL thunderstorm risk through Friday. This doesn’t mean it will rain all the time but there will be times it will. Chances are low but we’ll see how this plays out. If storms do form, we don’t expect severe weather but gusty winds and possibly hail could become that factor that makes them severe. What are the severe parameters? 1 inch hail and 58 mph winds. We’ll see what happens as we move through the rest of the week.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- Partly sunny, then becoming mostly sunny. Highs around 90. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight- Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows around 70. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
