0410L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6/17/21
1- Continued hot and dry with highs around 100 during the day and in the 70s for lows. Winds will be a little higher today so please use caution when using anything related to fire. If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately so a response can be sent. Rain chances look to be pushed back into the area later in the day on Sunday. Chances for rain are low so don’t hold your breath. Higher chances will be in southeast Oklahoma.
2- Again, watch out for the bump between 150th and 162nd on Breckenridge Road. Signs are up. Just slow down. Haven’t heard what the county will do yet but keep an eye out for new information. Depending on what they decide to do, the road could be closed for repairs temporarily. Have a backup plan ready JUST IN CASE. We’ll advise when we find out.
3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today-Sunny. Highs around 102. South winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts.
Tonight-Clear. Lows in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with higher gusts.
