0320L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 6/27/24

*SLIGHT RISK for severe weather later today into the overnight hours. There is a Marginal Risk this morning but the chances are low. This evenings threats will be high winds and possibly hail. We’ll have to see how that mess comes together up north as it travels south.

*NO heat advisory for today so far. It will be hot but a bit more manageable. That said, I am leaving the HEAT LINK DOWN BELOW.

*Overall, we’ll be ok, just not as hot and maybe we’ll see some rain later. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning. Highs in the lower 90s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the mid-70s. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
