0420L-THURSDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/15/18

1- FIRE WEATHER CONTINUES TODAY!! Winds will be the issue with gusts possibly to 35 mph so we’ll be in an Elevated/Critical fire danger zone. Report any fire or smoke to 911.

2- If you have allergy issues, it would probably be a good idea to wear some sort of a mask. I know it doesn’t look real good BUT it will help you breathe cleaner air, otherwise, stay in as much as possible. Friday will be even worse!!

3-Concerning school zones- SLOW DOWN!! The fine for a ticket in a school zone could be a budget killer.

4- WEATHER-WISE- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Thursday-Sunny, with a high near 74. South wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Thursday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. South wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
