0405L-THURSDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/22/18
1-Windy along with warmer conditions will give us a pretty nice day. The Fire Danger is low per NWS guidance but keep your eyes peeled for smoke and fire and report it to 911.
2-We do have a good possibility for showers and thunderstorms early next week. Per guidance right now, it appears the southeast part of Oklahoma will bear the brunt of the rainfall. Not all hope is lost as there are several factors involved with what can happen. We’ll see how this mess comes together over the next few days and deal with it.
3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Thursday-Mostly sunny with highs around 76. South winds 10 to 20 mph gusting to 30 mph.
Thursday Night-Partly cloudy with lows around 56. South winds 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph.
4- Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. It’s the only app you’ll get information directly from The Office of Emergency Management here in Garfield County. WEATHER, MAJOR INCIDENT, or DISASTER, we’ll keep you advised.
HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
MIKE
