0250L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/24/22

1- Clear and windy conditions are expected again today. A thermal trough is moving through the area early this morning and could cause some precip. If it does, it will be very light and not last very long.

2-Winds will be northwesterly, for the most, and will lay down later tonight. They will be back up on Friday, out of the north, and become easterly on Saturday around 10-15 mph. Skies should be mostly clear from now through the weekend.

3- Overall, things look good so get out and enjoy the nice windy Oklahoma weather. As per Fire Weather, please continue to use extreme caution out there. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Thursday-Sunny. Highs around 60. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Thursday Night-Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-30s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west after midnight.
