0325L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 5/18/23
* At 0300L-Showers and a few embedded thunderstorms are affecting west-central Oklahoma and moving into the central part of the state. Showers are possible this morning but it appears our rainfall for the day may come later this afternoon and overnight. We are in the General Risk Area today so the larger severe risk will be in western and southwestern Oklahoma. We’ll also be dealing with a cold front on Friday so rain chances will go up tomorrow.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. A slight chance of thunderstorms this morning, then a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the mid-70s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Tonight- A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then showers with thunderstorms likely after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.
