FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-THURSDAY, 5/25/17

Today’s graphics are from the STORM PREDICTION CENTER. These graphics show a broad area of where they feel storms may form over the next 3 days. Don’t get too fixated on where the lines are as THEY WILL MOVE as forecasts are modified. If you plan on traveling this weekend and plan on camping out, make sure you stay up with the latest from the NWS & SPC. If storms form in your particular area, they will most likely be severe with at least wind and hail being the main threats.

ALL I AM SAYING HERE IS JUST STAY WEATHER AWARE. By the way, have a good time too. 🙂

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Thursday-Sunny, with a high near 85. South wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Thursday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 62. South southeast wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
MIKE
