0330L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/25/23

**Don’t forget to download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You’re not prepared without it.

*Another day of, is it going to rain or not, will be the question many will have. IT DEPENDS. Just be prepared for it just in case. This pattern will continue to affect the region for at least the next 6 to 7 days per guidance. In SW Oklahoma, the storms down there are supposed to be weakening as they move east and they aren’t. There are some cells forming north and northeast and they are drifting north, so adds to that question, will it rain? Just keep that umbrella with you and we’ll see what happens. Storms shouldn’t be severe but they will be good rain producers.

* Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Partly sunny this morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. A chance of showers. A slight chance of thunderstorms this morning, then a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs around 80. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Tonight- Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows around 60. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
