0330L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/24/23

*Showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for today. There is anywhere from a 30% chance to a 50% chance through the next 7 days. As stated in previous posts, if it rains in any particular area, especially if heavier thunderstorms are involved, localized flooding may occur.

*We received approximately ¼ of an inch in yesterdays rainfall so we’ll see what happens today through the next 7 days. Keep an umbrella handy!

*Overall, we’ll be ok, just a little soggy. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Tonight- Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
