0330L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/21/21
1- The cold front made it through the area and has brought cooler temps and lighter winds. This will be short-lived but enjoy today while you can. We should see sunny skies and light winds.
2- The cold front will become a warm front while backing back to the north later today into Friday bringing possible rain chances to the area. Guidance isn’t really clear on this yet but we’ll see what happens. Our best chance for any precipitation will be early Saturday as it appears right now. Overall, a very nice day so enjoy. Here is your forecast for THURSDAY from the NWS/NORMAN;
Thursday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. North winds up to 10 mph.
Thursday Night-Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-40s. Light and variable winds.
FINALLY: Prepare for winter weather now while our weather is good. Waiting until the day of the storm is really a bad idea. Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app and it can help in the PREPAREDNESS PROCESS.
Have a good day and stay safe.
