0415L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/26/19

1- GENERAL RISK for thunderstorms today. We will be cooler so enjoy this while you can. Summer returns on Friday with heat and high humidity and storms, of course.

2- Rainfall totals that I have received are 1.75 around Wakita in Grant County. I have no other reports right now other than radar indicated and those average around 1.3 to 1.5 across the northern part of the county. Let me know your totals. Thank you.

3- Severe weather will be possible Friday and Saturday so stay prepared.  Don’t worry, our spotters will be activated if needed. See graphics attached.

Today-Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of thunderstorms early in the morning. Not as warm. Highs in the upper 70s. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
