0330L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/29/22

1- Not much change from yesterday so we’ll stay roughly in the mid-80’s with gusty winds at times. Rainfall looks bleak through the weekend and there is a small chance for rain next week if a pacific wave moves through our area. That track hasn’t been determined yet as its too far out for any model to be accurate.

2- The Fire Danger is still out there so be extremely careful. Call 911 if you see smoke or fire.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

FINALLY- This Saturday, LOWES is sponsoring a SAFETY AND FIRST RESPONDER DAY from 10 until NOON. Last year we had a good turnout of folks and we allowed the kids to spray water from Engines and Grass Rigs. They got to visit with many of our rural firefighters. Enid Police, Sheriff’s deputies, K-9 Dogs etc. were all out there last year so come out to LOWES and see us again, this year. That is this Saturday October 1, 2022, from 10 until noon.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
