0320L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 4/11/23

*IT RAINED! Per radar indicated rainfall, some areas in the eastern 1/3rd of the county may have received anywhere from ¼ of an inch to 2.5 inches of rainfall. Please let us know your rainfall totals. We’ll remain parched in the western 2/3rds of the county for a while longer.

*We are in an EXTREME DROUGHT and the Fire Danger today is LOW.  Call 911 if you see any smoke or fire. We will become Elevated on Wednesday and then be Near Critical through next Monday. Please be extremely careful utilizing anything related to fire. We ask that NO CONTROLLED BURNING if wind gusts exceed 15 mph. Make sure you put that burn completely out if you do one. Re-kindles CAN BECOME A NIGHTMARE, Thank you in advance.
