0320L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 4/12/23

*No rain appears in the near term as a definite but Friday is a borderline day if we see anymore rain this week. A few variables out there, weather-wise, but watering the yard would be a sure bet that it gets some water. No major relief in sight yet.

*We are in an EXTREME DROUGHT and the Fire Danger today is ELEVATED.  Call 911 if you see any smoke or fire.

*We will be Near Critical through next Monday with the fire danger. Please be extremely careful utilizing anything related to fire. We ask that NO CONTROLLED BURNING be conducted if wind gusts exceed 15 mph. THANKS!

Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
